The Farm House

The 1820’s Farmhouse is decorated with period antiques and has two guest rooms each with their own bath. Guest Room #1 has an 1800’s tiger oak sleigh bed, secretary desk original to the farmhouse, clawfoot tub and separate marble shower with a rain showerhead. Guest Room #2 has a Turn of the Century brass bed, beautiful blue glass Czechoslovakian lamps, great-grandmother’s black walnut vanity and clawfoot tub with an authentic surround shower. The house has original floors, paint colors and fixtures. Rooms include a full organic farmhouse breakfast served in our formal dining room on heritage china, crystal and silver. You choose the time.

Each guest room has cable TV and there is wireless Internet throughout the house – even on the front porch swing! There's a good selection of games in the formal parlor which is reserved for guest use. We’re happy to leave out a corkscrew and glasses for you on the dining room serving cart. The B&B part of the house is separate from the innkeepers’ quarters and has its own entrance. It's as if our guests have their own 1800's house… just turn out the lights before you turn in for the night!

We have a lit sledding hill behind the farmhouse and a campfire pit stocked with wood – ready to light for a fun filled night. Of course, there’s plenty of room to cross country ski or snow shoe on our 130 acres and we’re less than a mile from Rails-to-Trails where snowmobiling is permitted with the purchase of a trail pass. The State Game Lands are our neighbors; not to mention we’re only 5 miles from Elk Mountain Ski Resort!
